Before 1164 Until 1963, only 1164's garage existed.  The rest of the entire house was actually just an addition!  : - )  Furthermore, the garage originally belonged to the house next door (1162), which explains the east door.  Check out these rare images from before '64.

The East Chimney Treat yourself to these rare images of 1164's elusive east chimney!  Permanently removed after the façade's roof was rearranged for the 1988 film Moving, this chimney capped the large gable on the east side of the main roof.
