| Bewitched #141: Samantha's Wedding Present
Near the end of the episode, when Endora returns Darrin back to full
size on the living room coffee table, his suit changes color! Same styles,
just a brown one and a blue one. |
| Bewitched #142: Samantha Goes South for a Spell
Something doesn't look quite right with the east kitchen wall that's supposed
to be immediately behind the sink... |
| Bewitched #142: Samantha Goes South for a Spell
The "extra" who is in this image (near Samantha) is seen three times in the same scene,
and also later on, when Darrin arrives! His clothes also don't appear
very proper for 1868 New Orleans... |
| Bewitched #142: Samantha Goes South for a Spell
Near the middle of the episode,
when Serena is telling Darrin he'll have to go to New Orleans to get
Samantha back, he is holding a photo of Sam (the one they usually have on
the bedroom dresser). Once Darrin is actually there, he is trying to
convince the other man (who Sam is staying with) that he (Darrin) is Sam's
husband. But when he shows him the picture of her to prove it, it has
changed from being a ordinary portrait to a close-up glamour shot! |

| Bewitched #143: Samantha on the Keyboard
Look closely and you'll see the wires holding up Endora as she floats in
the living room! |
| Bewitched #145: It's So Nice to Have a Spouse Around the House
What happened to the washer and dryer (again)? They assembled the first floor set pieces
incorrectly in this non-standard view of the kitchen door. The image from the
Bewitched #158 blooper shows how the washer-dryer area normally looks. |
| Bewitched #148: Is It Magic or Imagination?
The Stephens' wooden, house-like mailbox appears only in this episode,
and even then it did not make it thru the entire show!
In the first two images, the camera angles and the house & amount of grass
showing establish that the mailbox was on the right (west) wide of the end
of the front brick walk. (You can also hear Samantha's heels clicking on
hard walk as she moves away from the mailbox.) However, the next morning (bottom image), there is no sign of the mailbox
in front of the house! This house shot is just well-used stock footage they shouldn't
have put in this particular episode. |

| Bewitched #148: Is It Magic or Imagination?
When the dog is at the top of the steps, you can just make out the wires that lift his ears up. |
| Bewitched #149: Samantha Fights City Hall
At the end of this episode, after the statue has winked at Samantha, there is a
close up of her, a zoomed out shot of everyone, and then another close up of Samantha.
Look at the different expression on her face in the middle shot! They
obviously spliced that footage in afterwards, as Elizabeth Montgomery couldn't
possibly have restored her previous facial expression so perfectly. |

| Bewitched #150: Samantha Loses Her Voice
Another wire sighting! If you look closely, you can see what REALLY causes the pennies to spill out
of the bottom of the bag Darrin is holding when Uncle Arthur pops out. |
| Bewitched #152: Weep No More, My Willow
Samantha's willow tree was supposedly Darrin's Mother's Day gift when Tabitha
was born. If that is so, how come the tree only appears in this one episode?
(Also, Tabitha was born about 4 months before Mother's Day in 1966.) |
| Bewitched #152: Weep No More, My Willow
During the final scene when the willow tree was about to be chopped down
and Sam & Darrin run out of the house, all the close-up shots of
Sam & Darrin were done on the soundstage set, and
all of the shots of the treecutter and all of the far away shots were
done on location at Columbia Ranch. In the close-up
shots, Sam & Darrin are standing directly to the left of the front door.
In the distant shots, they are standing closer to the street around the center of the bay
window! This happens throughout the entire ending. Overall lighting and
set/façade differences are very obvious. |
| Bewitched #153: Instant Courtesy
Endora shoots a message to Samantha in the kitchen.
We first have a long shot of Samantha reading the message, written on translucent paper.
The we see the message itself, which Endora changes after Sam makes a comment, and then it's back
to the long shot. However, you can see through the paper that she's actually still holding the
original message. |
| Bewitched #156: Serena Strikes Again
Serena turns Clio Venita into a monkey (gray monkey turned blonde with spray paint),
and there's a scene with Samantha, an organ grinder and a policeman chasing after
it in town. When Samantha "pops" out to get ahead of the organ grinder
and the officer, an African American extra walking down the street in the
background "pops" out with her! In a frame-by-frame analysis, you can actually
catch her leg for a moment afterwards. |
| Bewitched #158: Samantha the Bard
This is supposed to be a view outside of the kitchen.
All that should be outside the door is the stoop, bushes and driveway, not
a huge brick wall! This is of course because we're not out at the
façade. This wall can also be clearly seen
in episode #153, Instant Courtesy. |

| Bewitched #159: Samantha, the Sculptress
Look closely and you can see the wire holding up the floating ball that Samantha catches. |
| Bewitched #160: Mrs. Stephens, Where Are You?
Samantha goes looking for Darrin's mother, Phyllis Stephens, whom Serena has turned
into a cat. Sam finds Mrs. Stephens next door with a bunch of other cats.
Since she can't tell which one is Mrs. Stephens, she turns the ordinary cats into
puppies. In the first image, she has just picked up Mrs. Stephens.
But in the next view of the room (bottom image), the cat is back in the basket, yet
Samantha is holding her! And after that, the basket is shown empty. |
| Bewitched #161: Marriage, Witches Style
Near the end of the episode,
when Franklyn Blodgett is giving Serena some advice on how to use witchcraft
tactfully, she zaps up a huge wine glass, and it floats above his head
and pours all over him. His hair falls and sticks to his face at eye
level, but when the camera angle changes, it shrinks a couple of inches
to just below his hairline, more or less back to its normal position! |
| Bewitched #161: Marriage, Witches Style
Who's that with Samantha? Doesn't look like Serena! Actually,
it is Serena, played by Elizabeth Montgomery's stand-in, Melody Thomas.
(Not really a blooper, but fun nonetheless.) The blooper from #192 below
has Elizabeth and Melody playing the opposite roles. |
| Bewitched #164: The Battle of Burning Oak
Late in this episode Endora starts to skywrite Darrin an apology (with
real awful aminated special effects). There are
three cuts (shown here, in sequence) of Samantha and Darrin on the patio
sandwiched around the two
skywriting clips. The first and third shots of Samantha show her
with facial makeup like she used throughout the episode. However, the
middle shot of her shows entirely different makeup (particularly her lipstick) and
a slightly different hairstyle. |
| Bewitched #165: Samantha's Power Failure
When Serena and Uncle Arther are at the ice cream parlour
learning how to make chocolate-covered bananas,
Serena passes a banana to Arther to roll in the nuts and put in the
tray. There is now one banana in the tray. But when the second banana gets
put in the tray, there is now three bananas instead of just the two! The first
one must have multiplied when they weren't looking. : - ) |
| Bewitched #167: Daddy Does His Thing
At the start of the episode, Maurice comes through the wall with his car. This
wall, to the right of the living room window, seems to have expanded to over
double its usual size (to fit the car, undoubtedly)!
Also, when he drives through, you can
see the usual stained cabinet underneath the living room window,
but later, when Sam takes Darrin (as a mule) to
the window, the cabinet has vanished! |
| Bewitched #167: Daddy Does His Thing
When Maurice changes Darrin into a mule, Sam and he are by the
lighted fireplace and have champagne out on the table. There is also a set
of golf clubs resting against the sofa. The episode
carries though, and on the following day (middle image, at left), the golf
clubs aren't there. Then, at the end, when Maurice speaks backwards to
change Darrin back, you see it is from the same scene as the
opening (with the lighted fireplace, champagne and golf clubs!) On the
shot of Maurice hugging Samantha, they are looking over to where
Darrin should be, though he isn't really there. Dick York had collapsed
on the set while Maurice was finishing his lines. They filled in the
rest of the episode with Sam tracking Darrin down and the chess-playing scene.
The writers later used the same plot in a Dick Sargent episode, and he even
used some of the same lines as Dick York, word for word!
Also of note: the animal is a mule, not a jackass as stated by Maurice and Gladys (when
she was speaking to Abner). |

| Bewitched #168: Samantha's Good News
Maurice says he hasn't seen Endora in 18 months, but they were
together in the previous week's episode! |
| Bewitched #168: Samantha's Good News
Many times throughout Bewitched, they state that one witch or warlock
can't undo someone else's spell. However, in this episode, Endora turns
Maurice's beautiful young secretary, Abigail Beecham, into an old lady, and
Maurice turn her back! |
| Bewitched #169: Samantha's Shopping Spree
Cousin Henry is incorrectly listed in the closing credits as "Uncle Henry". |

| Bewitched #169: Samantha's Shopping Spree
At the department store, you can see two men come in and take all the manniquins away, including one near the
dressing room. When Samantha goes into the changing room to call Endora, the one mannequin reappears back where
it was! |
