| Bewitched #39: We're in for a Bad Spell
Talking about bad spells! Look how much the camera shifts in this
walking-through-the-wall effect. (Note change in position of the floor lamp.)
An idiot could have made a smoother transition. |
| Bewitched #40: My Grandson, the Warlock
Darrin's car "breaks down" here when he's trying to stall Larry and Louise from
getting to his house to pick up their son Jonathan. But that house in the background
looks familiar! It's the Stephens' next-door neighbor, and the car is actually directly in front of
1164! (Across from the end of the Stephens' driveway, more or less. That's 1162's driveway
in the image.) |
| Bewitched #40: My Grandson, the Warlock
The Stephens' car top is up late at night when
Samantha and Darrin bring the Tate's baby home, but then the top is down
early the next morning. |
| Bewitched #42: Take Two Aspirin and Half a Pint of Porpoise Milk
When Darrin appears before the local authorities, notice the map behind the Sergeant's desk.
It's Los Angeles! (Now what would that be doing in a municipal building in suburban Connecticut/New York?)
Moreover, the same map is also on the opposite wall of the room, seen behind the officer and lady with
the ostrich feather. |

| Bewitched #44: The Very Informal Dress
Samantha's dress created by Aunt Clara begins to disappear piece by piece.
In one shot, the dress loses its sleeves but keeps the collar.
Then we see Samantha trying to get Aunt Clara's attention, but the collar is now missing from the dress, even though
it was never shown being zapped off with the sleeves! |
| Bewitched #47: Aunt Clara's Old Flame
More not-so-good special effects. Aunt Clara walks through 1164's
front wall to arrive. However, she begins to fade out before she even
gets to the wall! |
| Bewitched #48: A Strange Little Visitor
The opening credits here for the writers looks way too low! (Usually the words are centered or
slightly above center.) |
| Bewitched #52: The Magic Cabin
When Darrin and Samantha arrive at Larry's old cabin, it starts to rain
very heavily. The cabin's roof leaks; Sam fixes it with witchcraft, and
they spend the night. The next morning, they go out for a drive, and
the car windows are wide open! |
| Bewitched #57: Fastest Gun on Madison Avenue
The same newspaper is used for different days! The first scene shows Darrin in the kitchen the
morning after he knocked out Jolting Joe Kovak (with Samantha's help). Later in the episode, he
knocks him out again, and eventually also lays down the "Champ", Tommy Carter, when he stumbles in the
restaurant/bar. Then we see him reading the paper again... the same one! (But with different headlines
in the close-up shots of the front.) |
| Bewitched #58: The Dancing Bear
Phyllis gives Tabitha a "new" toy clown. Too bad we've already seen the same clown three episodes ago,
sitting on the window seat near the nursery door in episode #55 (which is what this image is from). |

| Bewitched #59: Double Tate
In the episode where Aunt Clara babysits Tabitha and Jonathan Tate, Aunt
Clara arrives and tries to crash through the front door of the set. When this happens, you can
see the porch columns shake! |

| Bewitched #60: Samantha, the Dressmaker
Samantha wears a beautiful formal gown that was supposed to be an Aubert original. However, the same dress
debuted in episode #9!
|
| Bewitched #62: Baby's First Paragraph
Not really a blooper, but this shot shows one of the many ways they created a very high (and unusual-shaped) living
room ceiling. They also added a large flat board on top of the rounded piece of beamwork in the corner so
Endora had more room to sit on it. Check out this same area under episodes #217 and #222 on my
"Season 7" bloopers page. |
| Bewitched #62: Baby's First Paragraph
What's that at the top left, above and behind
the city buildings? Why, it's the back of another giant studio façade!
This can also been seen in several other episodes, including #223, pictured on my "Season 7" bloopers
page. |

| Bewitched #63: The Leprechaun
As Samantha is pushing Tabitha's stroller down the sidewalk, you can see the production crew's reflection
in the bay window of the house! |

| Bewitched #65: Disappearing Samantha
When Samantha is in the bedroom with the ice pack on her head and Endora pops in,
you can see the wires holding up the ice pack when Sam disappears. (You have to look closely for this
one.) |
| Bewitched #67: Follow That Witch
When Samantha twitches up a storm in Charlie Leach's apartment, she decides
to zap the ceiling light off of its chain. It falls straight down onto
the coffee table, but the table smashes in half before the falling lamp even
gets there! |
| Bewitched #67: Follow that Witch
Samantha zaps Charlie Leach all the way to Mexico.
As he walks back, he pauses at a sign that says "New York" in Spanish,
but gives the distance in English, and in the wrong units!
(It should be kilometers, not miles, so the sign should read "3441 kilómetros").
Of course, had Charlie Leach known that he was standing right next to 1162's garage
(that's 1164 just above his head), he wouldn't have been so worried! The bottom image shows a
better view of the rear of 1164's garage. |
| Bewitched #70: Man's Best Friend
One of the knobs on Samantha's kitchen cabinet drawers is crooked! Well, at least it's there.
That drawer had no knob in episode #61 (see bottom image below). |
| Bewitched #71: The Catnapper
The east end of the kitchen is gone! For a few scenes, they had removed the
east set of kitchen cabinets (with the sink), the splashboard and the window! Compare to the second
image here from episode #61. |
